15 Italian reform projects selected for EU support - Politics. Italy is to receive assistance in drawing up the roadmap for 'Connecting Africa to Europe for clean energy production' - mainly renewables and hydrogen.
Two further projects concern the reduction of seismic and climate risks for public buildings and one concerns 'Food safety at national and regional level' of the 15 projects approved for Italy, seven have a cross-border dimension. The support concerns the Italian government's Mattei Plan to create a new partnership with African countries to address the root causes of irregular migration.
