An 84-year-old man from Gauting falls into a four-meter-deep light shaft. The senior worked in the garden of his house in Buchenstraße.
The pensioner suffered injuries to his back and apparently fractures to both arms and shoulders in the fall. He had to be rescued from the light shaft by the volunteer fire brigade before he could be taken by ambulance to the Großhadern Hospital. The injured man was cared for by a neighbor who is fortunately a doctor.
