[HIGHLIGHTS] A car crashes into the emergency room of a hospital in Texas, leaving at least one dead and four injured

The car crashed into the emergency room at St. David's Medical Center in north Austin shortly after 5:30 p.m.

(local time) At least one person has died, Austin police Detective Carey Chaudoir told the Austin American-Statesman. The accident does not appear to have been unintentional, authorities said. Of the four injured, two are minors, but he added that they are in stable condition. The driver of the car struck the north entrance to the facility, police said.
