The turtle was taken to the veterinary clinic to be examined and treated. Unfortunately, too much time spent in the cold outside the water and probable lung problems caused his death. An analysis of the animal's carcass was ordered at the zooprophylactic institute to ascertain the causes of death and to verify the presence of plastic or foreign bodies in the stomach.
