A 28-year-old man was arrested in Nantes by the GIGN after a failed assassination in a seaside resort. He is believed to be behind a firearm attack carried out the same morning in Pornic.
The intended target was a young man, 23, who was shot in the stomach. The Saint-Nazaire public prosecutor's office has not yet ruled on the motive for the crime, which took place in the Blavetière district of Pornic, around 30 kilometers from Nantes.
