A 36-year-old man from Étampes was arrested for threatening a motorist armed with a revolver last week. He was presented to the Évry-Courcouronnes court this Monday March 11 as part of an immediate appearance.
Due to the overcrowding of the hearing, his trial was postponed to a later date. The case began five days earlier, when a traffic accident occurred not far from the RN 20, south of Étampinges. According to the motorist's account, the man in the van threatened him with a gun pointed right in front of his nose.
