A 39-year-old man tried to set himself on fire in front of the Suresnes police station. The events occurred on Wednesday around 5 p.m.
The police were able to control him before the tragedy occurred. He was hospitalized and taken to the Max-Fourestier hospital in Nanterre. The man initially went to the police station, apparently to file a complaint, the content of which is unknown.. The man preferred to leave the scene but eventually returned towards the police. station and doused himself with flammable liquid.
