A mayor of Meurthe-et-Moselle plays the good Samaritan by offering his compensation to renovate the church. The mayor of Saint-Maurice-aux-Forges decided to finance part of the work on the church himself by paying all the costs.
“I thought about it every day, I was looking for a solution to renovated the church,” Patrick Mangin says. ‘The Heritage Foundation made me understand that it would not follow us,’ he adds.
