Jennifer Lynn Rossi, 45, mixed lemon, salt and vinegar in a bottle of her son's sports drink to supposedly "prevent it from being stolen at school by other students," authorities said in a statement. After drinking from the container, the affected minor suffered nausea, dizziness and was taken to a hospital for check-up.

Rossi was charged with causing bodily injury to a minor, for which she was booked into the Bexar County Jail on $1,000 bail. The victim was eventually discharged.
