A mysterious package on the ICE triggers a major operation – the contents are surprising. A fellow passenger discovered the abandoned package during the journey from Berlin to Hamburg and informed the train driver.
Federal police cleared the affected car and set up a barrier. The alleged recipient was noted on the back of the package - handwritten and with a telephone number. However, the 31-year-old man from Harburg stopped laughing after an instruction and a reference to possible deployment costs. Although he was waiting for his package, the man was still unable to provide precise information about the sender.
