A new Mediterranean episode seems to be looming for the Easter weekend. Heavy rainfall could fall on the south-eastern quarter of the country, particularly in the Cévennes.

A Mediterranean episode is characterized by severe bad weather in regions bordering the Mediterranean. The episode could be “more substantial” than the one that has just ended, but the forecasts must still be refined in the next 48 hours. The region has recorded Mediterranean episodes in February and March since the beginning of March.
