A police officer convicted of rape flees to Essonne, an arrest warrant issued. Xavier P., a 45-year-old police officer, was sentenced on September 13 by the Essonne Assize Court to ten years in prison.
He was arrested and placed in police custody at the Juvisy-sur-Orge police station last week, again for domestic violence committed in the town. The man then allegedly slipped away from the establishment without reporting himself, triggering the arrest warrant. All police services in Île-de-France have been notified.
