The families of the abductees will have a joint Friday dinner around the long table tonight. The meal is being held to mark 20 Friday meals and 21 Shavuot.
The abductees are not with them and are forced to accept Shabbat in the dark Hamas tunnels. For the benefit of those who will not be able to make it to the Kidnapped Square, many bakeries throughout the country placed a box with quarters of pita at their door.
