A recycling center located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Barracas caught fire this Saturday late in the afternoon. The fire started on a property in Herrera at 2,200, meters from the Riachuelo, and spread.

Due to the large amount of heat and gusts of wind, the site's shed was giving way and arteries were cut preventively and a 200-meter security perimeter was deployed. As a result of the fire, a dense black column could be seen from different neighborhoods of the City.
