The Eisenhofen-Hirtlbach Warrior and Soldier Comradeship is celebrating its 150th anniversary in July. The trigger for the founding of the comradeship was the so-called German War in 1866 between Austria and Prussia.
“Due to the cruel world wars, our main task has developed into being an advocate for peace. It is our job to remember the horrors of war. The fallen, missing and all victims of war or tyranny must not be forgotten,” explains the chairman of the festival committee, Georg Schöngruber.
