A reservist who contracted an infectious fungus in Gaza died this morning (Wednesday) from his wounds at Sheba Hospital. A few weeks ago the fighter was seriously injured in Gaza and contracted a fungus.

After his family appealed for help and asked for assistance on social media in obtaining an experimental compassion medicine that is in Ireland, they managed to contact the Pfizer company in order to bring the medicine to Israel. The drug will land in Israel in a few hours and then undergo an inspection by the manufacturer Pfizer and then be transferred to Sheba hospital.
