Jess K. appeared this Friday before the Nanterre criminal court for having defrauded around forty victims by selling them fake diamonds.

The prosecutor requested two years in prison, including one year suspended on probation. Other victims appeared at the hearing, without lawyers. All have lost more or less significant sums while thinking of investing in diamonds with exponential returns, between 5 and 10%. They actually bought not-so-precious stones, at a cost significantly higher than the purchase price. The judgment was reserved.
