Around 150 people from Oberhaching came to this year's citizens' meeting in the Forstner Citizens' Hall to find out about current developments in the community. Probably the largest project currently underway is the school campus with secondary school and FOS, which is being built on the site directly next to the Deisenhofen S-Bahn station.
The mayor then addressed the issue of wind energy and explained that the regional planning association is driving the complex issue forward. He had further applications on a wide variety of topics, such as the laying of the fiber optic network, which in his opinion is not progressing quickly enough, or the rezoning of municipal areas to building land. The town hall boss said that the applications would be dealt with in the municipal committees.. The goal is to bundle wind power and promote it at suitable, good locations, said Schelle. The first step was to identify search areas and then develop a control concept. "This will be presented at the local council meeting on May 5th," said the mayor.
