A thief died after being shot by a police officer during an attempted car theft in Longchamps. Carla Vanina Ramona Duarte was in civilian clothes, with her partner.
Two armed attackers approached the car and the woman shot them from inside the vehicle. The episode was recorded on video by a security camera, which showed the moment in which the couple was intercepted, the beginning of the shots and the criminals fleeing the scene. The identity of the thief had not yet been established, while his body was transferred to the Lomas de Zamora judicial morgue.
