The strike planned for Wednesday at the rehabilitative daycare centers was called off this evening. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and Welfare Minister Yaakov Margi announced agreements on raising the salaries of the assistants in these day care centers.
"The agreement we reached corrects the injustice and compares the employment conditions," Margi said. The ministries have committed to correcting the gap with the approval of the state budget in the Knesset. The consequences of a shutdown in daycare could be critical for these children.
