A 41-year-old man was buried up to his stomach in Obersteinbach on Saturday. His brother first tried to dredge it on his own, but failed.
Two excavators were used to remove the surrounding earth material so that nothing could slide down. The man was finally able to climb out of the hole in the ground himself. He was taken to the waiting BRK ambulance, where he was checked for injuries. After excavation work: Fire brigades free the buried Gaißacher.
