Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli President Isaac Herzog spoke by phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday. Netanyahu and Erdogan agreed to continue strengthening relations between the two countries and bringing them to new heights.

The Turkish president reiterated his thanks for Israel's assistance in search and rescue following the recent earthquake that struck Turkey. Herzog, in his conversation with the Turkish president, also stressed the importance of continuing to work together to maintain stability, promote regional peace and deepen fruitful cooperation between the countries.
