After years of abandonment, the old Mouy theater is back on stage. A resident of the town is in the process of rehabilitating the old theater, dating from 1896 but remaining abandoned for a long time.
From 1,840 inhabitants in 1800, the town has nearly 3,500 a century later. From this growth, there still remain certain Haussmann-inspired mansions, large buildings which bear witness to the wealth that the city was able to experience, or even the theater, built in 1896.
