The adoption of generative artificial intelligence could bring benefits equal to 1,750 billion dollars a year to public administrations around the world by 2033. This is stated by a study by the Boston Consulting Group consultancy company.

Italians say they are mainly concerned about the loss of jobs (36%) and the skills of individuals who use these tools (30%). In Italy, only 4% of respondents use GenAi tools at least once a day, on the average of 16% globally and 15% in the U.S. The highest percentage is in Qatar, equal to 42%. According to the report, 23% of people in the world have never used Generative Artificial Intelligence. The report, titled "GenAi: The Trust Multiplier for Government," finds that while many citizens feel comfortable with the idea of government using artificial intelligence, there are two main sources of concern: the speed of implementation and the potential impact on jobs. The analysts conducted an analysis of 41,600 frequent web users in 48 jurisdictions globally.
