[HIGHLIGHTS] Alberto Fernández asked Nicolás Maduro to return to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights

The leaders met for the first time, within the framework of the South American Summit organized by Lula da Silva in Brasilia. Fernandez asked Maduro that Venezuela return to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, which is under the orbit of the OAS.

The meeting, anticipated by Clarín on Monday, is the first held by both presidents. It took place at the Itamaraty Palace after noon, after Fernandez's speech to his peers. It was the first meeting between the two presidents.
