[HIGHLIGHTS] All 34 proposals for the Neufahrn participatory budget are given the green light by the municipal council

Neufahrn participatory budgeting will take place every two years from 2023. The budget has been increased to a total of 100,000 euros.

For the first time, the municipal council decided which of the proposals would be accepted before the vote by the citizens. Of the proposals submitted, 36 proposals met the formal criteria after examination by the administration. 34 proposals were put to the vote on Monday – and were accepted as such. They ranged from relatively "small" measures in the low four-digit range to "large" projects.
