The main axis leading to the ski resorts of Isola 2000 and Auron (Alpes-Maritimes) was cut due to a landslide which, fortunately, did not occur. The consequence, undoubtedly, of the Mediterranean episode which affected the department the day before and during which 50 to 150 millimeters of water fell in a few hours, causing some landslides.

“It’s usually in the fall but it happens, we know it,” notes Mylène Agnelli, the mayor of isola.
