A man was fined for drug possession while stroking a drug search dog in Amiens. The animal trained to detect illicit substances smelled their presence in the sock of the main person concerned.

The young man was ultimately fined 150 euros for possession of narcotics. “We found it a bit unusual for a person in possession of. narcotics to throw themselves into the den of the wolf,” says Laurent Berthuin, of the national police of the Somme. ‘It’s not common,’ says Berthuin, “it’S not common   . ” “I’m very happy with the fine.” ‘I was very happy to get out of the dog’, says the man, ‘very happy to be free of drugs.’ ‘We’re very happy that we’ve found a way to get rid of the drugs,‘ adds the man.
