Amphibian protector breathes a sigh of relief. Animal rights activist Daniela Brombach has been very close to protecting amphibians since the bypass was put into operation.
And draws a positive conclusion for the first time. Along the Weßlingen bypass, safety fences and buckets were installed on both sides. The amphibian protection on the bypass alone cost around 800,000 euros. Brombach is currently active at two other locations: at the rain retention basin near Mischenried on the A 96 and at the newly built supermarket near the Kuckucksheim.
