Mariana Rosas will be the new director of the London Symphony Chorus. She is a graduate of the University of Birmingham's School of Music.

She will take up her new role on August 1, 2018. The new director will be based in London, but will travel to other parts of the world. She has been in the UK for a year and a half, but has never been to the UK before. She was born in Argentina, but moved to Britain at the age of three.
