There had already been a similar incident on Tuesday, when two windows on the ICE 102 were also destroyed. Officials have already driven to certain locations along the route to look for clues about the perpetrators. The Offenburg Federal Police have now taken over the investigation into dangerous interference with rail traffic from the Karlsruhe Federal Police. The windows were temporarily masked in Lahr (Ortenaukreis), and the train then continued towards Karlsrouhe.
