The suspect is accused of attacking a sixty-year-old man leaving a synagogue on March 6. The defendant, who obtained the adjournment of the trial this Friday, is known to the courts.

He was convicted twice, once for similar crimes. The man, born in Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe, is 31 years old. He settled permanently in France, and launched into drug trafficking “to get by”, he explains. He also says he was a tattoo artist and a DJ.
