An 11-year-old girl suffered a heart attack after a basketball match in Antibes. A volunteer firefighter in civilian clothes was on site at the time of the incident.
The man did not lose his composure and immediately began resuscitation efforts. After several shocks delivered, the victim's heart suddenly started again. She was transported to Lenval hospital in Nice, in serious condition. Additional examinations will be carried out on the child to find out if she is suffering from any undetected heart disease which could explain this discomfort.
