Around 100 participants at the annual meeting of the BBV Unterallgäu district association. District chairman Martin Schorer said that the farmers' demonstrations on the streets or in the cities had led to the cancellation of the intended vehicle tax for farmers.
Irmgard Maier was pleased to note that the “farmer as a topic” had arrived in society since last January. The district farmer from Oberrieden pointed out that the farms had to be run by young rural women during times of protests.
