Artificial intelligence is finding its way into the clinic. During an endoscopy, diseases of the digestive tract are detected using flexible optical and tiny microsurgical probes.

If necessary, polyps can be removed directly from inside the body in a minimally invasive manner during the same examination. The new devices that are now in use at the Bruck Hospital also rely on artificial intelligence. A new CT device, which will also use artificial intelligence, is scheduled to arrive at the district clinic in April.
