A 24-year-old woman fell from her balcony on the second floor of her building in Asnières. She suffered a head injury and several fractures to her legs.
Her husband, also 24, told police he was in the apartment when he heard his wife screaming. He claims to have rushed to the balcony and tried to restrain the one he describes as a depressed person. The circumstances of his fall were deemed sufficiently suspicious to encourage officials to take him into custody. The Nanterre prosecutor's office has instructed investigators to shed light on this case to establish the exact circumstances.
