A scream and a fall. A tragedy struck the 56 rue Henri-Poincaré, in Asnières, this Friday. In the early afternoon, a resident of the neighborhood fell from her balcony on the second floor of her building.
It is 13 p.m. when the police officers of the Asnières police station are notified. When they arrive on site, in this small street in the northern districts, a stone's throw from the metro Les Courtilles, a woman lies on the ground. Municipal police, based a hundred meters away, are already on site, near the victim.
This one, a 24-year-old woman, is still alive but every second counts. She suffered a head injury and several fractures to her legs. She was evacuated in absolute emergency to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy. At the end of the afternoon, his prognosis was still considered "engaged".
The Office of the Commissioner Seized of the Investigation
The neighbourhood survey and the first observations are immediately carried out. Her husband, also 24, told police he was in the apartment when he heard his wife screaming. He claims to have rushed to the balcony and tried to restrain the one he describes as a depressed person.
The other testimonies collected by the police seem to weaken this version. In the neighborhood, people heard by the investigators evoke a violent dispute between the spouses.
Enough to encourage officials to take him into custody. The Nanterre prosecutor's office has instructed investigators from the Asnières police station to shed light on this case to establish the exact circumstances of the fall.
