New accommodation for asylum seekers is being built in Emmering. The first refugees will move into the former Bösl guesthouse at the beginning of March.

46 of the 53 people are so-called incorrect applicants. This means that they already have a residence permit, but are still living in the refugee accommodation because they cannot find an apartment. Theoretically, the district office could throw them out the door straight away. In this case, people would be homeless. The municipality would then have the obligation to accommodate them.
