Agostina Hein, 15, came fifth in the 800-meter freestyle final at the Doha World Championships. The young woman from Campana clocked a time of 8m29s19, her personal best.

She was just under seven seconds -6s53- away from the bronze medal, which went to New Zealander Erika Fairweather. Hein will close her participation in the Qatari capital this Sunday with her performance in the 400 medley series. The transalpine swimmer signed the double in the long-distance events by winning both the 800 and the 1,500 freestyle.
