Attack on Kurdish group: Iranian militias kill seven US allies in Syria. In response to recent US attacks, a US base is attacked.

There are casualties among US allies. In Syria alone, the observatory has counted more than 100 such attacks since mid-October. In Deir ez-Zor, near the Iraqi border, Shiite militias face off against the SDF east of the Euphrates. In an initial statement, SDF blamed “mercenaries” allied with Bashar al-Assad’s Syrian regime for the attack.
