Attal government: the left's motion of censure rejected by the National Assembly. Submitted by the left even before Gabriel Attal's general policy speech, this motion of "no confidence" rejected this Monday.

It would have taken 289 votes to bring down the government. The motion, however, had little chance of being adopted given the reluctance shown by LR and RN deputies to vote for it. The right is still threatening to table one of its own in the coming weeks or months, which would have a greater chance of gathering sufficient votes.
