Philippe Schneider was indicted and imprisoned, with two other people, in February 2023, in the investigation into the murder of a sixty-year-old, whose body was cut into pieces and cremated after death. The public prosecutor requested a six-month extension of his incarceration, describing the acts committed as “sordid crimes” motivated by nefarious motives.
