Barilla focuses on HVO biodiesel and launches a pilot project - Energia & Energie. For increasingly less polluting transport, Barilla has started experimenting with H VO biodiesel.
Renewable diesel produced from waste raw materials and plant residues, or oils generated from crops that are not used for fuel, which can also be used by Euro6 diesel vehicles. In 2024 Barilla aim to develop widespread adoption of biofuels through its carriers with whom it has consolidated partnership relationships.
