Because of the “fully comprehensive mentality”: the number of deployments by the Miesbach fire department has risen sharply. The volunteers went out 217 times in 2023 – a new record.
In 2022 there were 50 fewer missions. In terms of people, there were 1,099 active people on site during the fires, 1,318 for technical assistance and 122 for security guards. The troops invested a lot of time in training and exercises. As youth officer Sebastian Kunze proudly reported, the young people also passed their intermediate and final exams in modular troop training.
