National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir filed a defamation suit against Defense Minister and former IDF Chief of Staff Moshe Ya'alon on Sunday. He allegedly attributed to him chants of "death to Arabs" during an interview with Haaretz.
This lawsuit joins a series of legal proceedings conducted by Ben- Gvir for statements against him. He also withdrew a lawsuit against the police, which he claimed violated his immunity and freedom of movement, after banning him from marching at Damascus Gate one May day in 2022.
