BER digitizes handling on the apron. Cameras at initially 16 parking positions for aircraft will monitor the handling processes in real time.
Self-learning software analyzes the processes using the image data. In the event of delays or deviations, the program can trigger an alarm and provide the relevant employees with information on where things can run more efficiently. The new system will be used to make up for delays in the future. All gates should be equipped accordingly over the course of the summer.
