Olympic flame will be lit on April 16, but it is already present in Bezons (Val-d'Oise) This Saturday March 9, 2024, the town organized a ceremony for the launch of the ‘flame of union’ This is a local version of the five-ringed torch which is due to arrive in Marseille on May 8. It will cover a 30 km route from Théméricourt to Soisy-sous-Montmorency.
At the end of the day, the last bearer of the flame will set the Olympic cauldron ablaze at the Enghien racecourse.
