The White House announced on Tuesday, May 23, that Joe Biden would receive on June 5 Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Denmark is one of the countries participating in an international coalition recently set up to provide fighter jets to the Ukrainian military.
The Scandinavian country is in the process of replacing its F-16 fleet with F-35s, and has already committed to training Ukrainian pilots. The two leaders will discuss their cooperation "to strengthen transatlantic security and economic prosperity," US spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said.
