Big hurdles on the way to a new blessing hall in Grafrath. Local council has approved a building application for a new funeral hall at the Höfen cemetery.
But that doesn't mean that the building will actually be built soon. In addition to a long approval process, the municipal finances stand in the way. The application only wants to check whether the project can be approved. Now the district office and the monument protection authority also have to examine the plans. The municipality currently lacks the money for such a project.
