Bochum misses out on victory in the basement duel against Darmstadt. The hosts were in the lead thanks to two goals from Philipp Hofmann (30th and 48th minute), Tim Skarke (62nd minute) and Oscar Velhelmson (76th minute) Bochum is still six points ahead of relegation place 16.
Newly promoted Darmstadt remains bottom with 14 points and is six points short of FSV Mainz 05 in 16th place in the table.
